Challenge

Lube oils are viscous, expensive and sold by the tonne. Volumetric meters drift as the oil’s temperature and viscosity change, and every tenth of a percent becomes either a loss or a customer claim. The contractor needed mass metering, sealed top loading with no spills on the platforms, and one supplier responsible from design to commissioning — against a fixed start-up date for the terminal.

Solution

AVRON built two loading islands for lube oils with mass metering, then installed and commissioned them on site.
